insider art

What I love about the Singapore Art Museum is that they do not stop tourists such as myself from taking photographs of the art works as long as I follow museum protocol such as: 1) Keeping and maintaining proper distance from the paintings and 2) No flash photography or use of tripods.
Moreover, the museum understands that contemporary art is not easily understood by everyone and so they provided informative signage in each and every art piece. By the time I left the museum, I felt very informed and my education about art further expanded. This is what every person should feel like when they exit a museum.
